The Central Transdanubian Regional IT Cluster (CTRIC) was founded by regional SMEs and the University of Óbuda in the Central Transdanubian Region.

The cluster began its activities on the 20th of July 2006 under the management and surveillance of the management committee of 3 professionals – all employed by the founder companies (Seacon Europe Ltd. Ris Ltd, University of Óbuda.

The management committee is the management and administration organization of the cluster.

The cluster has currently 16 members, 14 SMEs, a large corporation (Pannonjob Ltd.), and the University of Óbuda. The 14 SME members are all involved in the IT sector.

As part of the cluster accreditation process, CTRIC’s management decided to introduce a new management approach – where part of the cluster management activities have been taken over by INNOSKART Nonprofit Ltd as of January 1st, 2009. This change in the management opened the door towards new national projects for CTRIC.
